The skies begin to lighten

As daybreak starts the dawn

Shadows become longer

The beginning of each morn

Sunrise announces a new day

Whether skies are cloudy or rain is falling

The sun is shining somewhere

An adventure in the making calling

It's Spring and breezes softly waft

Birds are flitting about weaving nests

Their lilting songs give the mind a lift

How glorious life is, nature never rests

Soon flowers will be blooming

Graceful trees budding with leaves

Each sunrise restores needed energy

God smiles on us, he's pleased

So much beauty in the making

Painted with a majestic artist's brush

Each sunrise, each new dawning

Streaming rainbow colors blush

Thank you for sharing your bright outlook, Elsie. Our daffodils are extending their stems skyward, waiting for permission to bud and bloom. The song sparrow was singing cheerfully today as the chickadees climbed up and the nuthatch down the feeders. The sunshine squeezed occasionally between the clouds. Cheers.

Spring is the most energizing part of the year to me, Elsie. I love to see the sunrise and hot dog, may get to this morning. There's nothing quite like it, is there. We are hearing different bird songs now and some are so beautiful, they qualify for being too beautiful, impossible to be that beautiful.
