My middle son - the Lego genius

My middle son has always been a crafty guy and loves his Legos! He's always building something really intricate that I would never even think of making... here's one of his latest projects:

It's Wall-E!

The neat part is that he didn't get this in a package with directions ... he thought of it on his own and figured out how to make it with pieces he already had.

That's why I don't like buying the kits. I'd rather my kids figure out how to make something on their own.

That's great! I'd want to see if Lego had a suggested Wall-e and see how your son's version compared. You might want to sent the photo to them if they haven't already got one (or if yours is better or at least different). They're always publishing ideas for less creative kids. :)

That's awesome! I would have never thought of making something like that. I was never good with legos....betcha he's gonna be an engineer or architect or something like that.

What is it with boys (and men too for that matter, LOL) and Legos!?! LOL I clearly remember my cousins playing with Legos when I was a kid, and now my son is starting to get into such things. And of course my husband always checks out all that stuff anytime we're at Toys R Us. His older sons are in their mid-twenties and early thirties and he still buys them some toy to put together every year for Christmas. LOL
