I just read a post by Candice Z about Toys R Us giving away free Thomas the Train this weekend.  I called my local Toys R Us to see if they participated.  They said they did, but all free trains were sold out by 2 PM today.  Bummer!!!!!

aww sorry you didnt get any.
i tried to use the coupon at my store they said they dont take printed coupons so we took a trip to the next one and got some:) i put them up for my Christmas charity:)

Is that the one with Ringo Starr as the voice? That is a shame. It sounds like our local Farm & Fleet -- so many times, their tabloid ad booklet says that the products listed are "not available in Clinton" (our store). Maybe it's too small a market? This always happens to me with the freebies too, they tend to get depleted fast. Thanks for posting this and better luck next time!
