American Robin March 21, 2009

Bird watching can be so much fun, and I find the American Robin to be very interesting. as they hop about my yard looking for a meal.

This morning it was a male searching for food and keeping and eye on me at the same time.

Well Tahoma and I that is. Not that either of us had a chance of catching him.

Very wary bird.

Oh he senses something !

He's probing the lawn.

Nothing yet.

Finally a meal fit for, well a robin.

There are a few birds more fun to watch than robins. They are Steller's Jays, ravens, crows, all other jays, and starlings.

Those are wonderful. I love the clear crisp shots so the orange really stands out. And that you were able to catch the shot of the worm is great

A meal fit for a robin, indeed... I can't say I've ever envied a robin his dinner. I don't find worms very appealing!
