My father, who recently lost his battle with cancer is the most incredible person I've ever known. Before he had cancer he would work long hours to make sure my family had the things we needed. He often forgot to take good care of himself in the process. He never worried about himself, or complained. He loved us and wanted to make sure we were taken care of. He taught us how to be the best people we possibly could, teaching us the values of being great people. When he found out he had cancer he pushed himself to be as strong as he could, he was determined to live his life to the fullest. He pushed himself to spend time with us, even though he was getting chemo and it was hard on him. When he lost the ability to walk he still tried to live his life to the fullest. He didn't let anything stand in the way of him spending his last days on Earth with those he cared about. I'm blessed to have had such a great man for a father and I will never forget all the things he's taught me.
