1 can of pink salmon 1.99
1 pack of sweet crackers (crushed) .50 I use generic Ritz type
1 large egg .25
1 stick of real butter .50
1 box Kraft mac and cheese spirals or what ever .99
1/4 cup milk .25
2 cans peas 1.25
Buns if you want burgers 1.00
ketchup .25
Canned salmon has bones, do not remove those, they will crush and add calcium and you will not know they are there. smash salmon, add one egg and the pack of crushed crackers. Let set 15 minutes in the fridge. I melt 1/2 of the stick of butter in a cast iron skillet and form the salmon in to patty shapes and fry. Make the mac and cheese as directed and heat peas and season to taste. may be served on a bun like a burger but we prefer then with out it total cost 6.98(price includes buns)
>Doesn't look so good right out of the can but its take great.

a bagged salad also goes nice with this, in our are we can get them for .99 cents.

Now it is a yearly ritual while we're camping. We look forward to that meal because it brings Dad back with us for my sister and I who grew up camping with him almost every weekend in those long ago summers.
Kraft Dinner is was also a staple when we were camping with our children. (it wasn't around when we were kids)
We take a couple of canned veggies camping too but at home it has to be fresh or frozen.
I enjoyed your photos too.
I love salmon patties.
trying to de-troll with a 10!
