Friday, March 20th: OUR SPRINGTIME AUDIO TREASURE CHEST! (MP3 audios)
"Four short, wonderful springtime audio treats your kids are going to love. What are they? You'll have to stop by and listen in!"
Training our children to listen is almost a lost art.
Listening to stories and audiobooks is something that takes time to acquire a taste for. When my kids were little, I worked as a mystery shopper and merchandiser. We'd pack our school materials and audio books into the car and take off for a day doing jobs. They'd help me do the jobs, and we'd drive around listening to some pretty thrilling stories, sometimes historical fiction. We listened to language tapes too while we were on the road. Those were fun days, and we always looked forward to road trips because of that. It was a great way to alleviate those annoying cries, "Are we there yet?"
Enjoy these audio files today only as your educational freebie of the day.

Both audio files are productions of two different homeschool families:
A Star is What I'm Going to Be
by the Vogrin Family
24 minutes (Real Player)
and
The Hallam tornado
by the Claesson Family
9:49 minutes (Real Player)
I'm actually listening to the second one right now. It's very good! I love real life stories.
Enjoy these.
