Scrapbooking ... does anyone else here do it?

I love to do scrapbooking. It is one of my favorite hobbies. I am wondering if there are others here on gather who do it too. I have lots and lots of scrapbooks I have made over the years. I was feeling guilty because I have not had much time to do my scrapbooking over this past year. Now that I have lost my job I will have al ot more time so I am looking forward to getting a lot more done!

Do you do scrapbooking? Do you have any tips?

I would LOVE to start scrapbooking or card making.. any type of paper craft.. but I'm just so busy.. and it seems expensive to get started..

Maybe one of these months or years..

Have you looked up the groups on Gather to find a scrapbooking one? There's bound to be one here. They have just about everything else. I personally don't scrapbook. Maybe some day...

My mother loved making scrapbooks. I never really took the time to do it. I'd like to make one for each of my children... I just need to get organized and do it.

I think it is great that you are making lemonade out of lemons...

I used to. I don't print many photos anymore.
I do scrapbook, but I have fell way behind. I think it is pretty easy to get caught up though. Have fun!

MY SCRAP BOXES ARE ON TOP OF THE DRESSER IN THE LITTLE ROOM AND IN TUBS IN THE GARAGE. MAY HAVE TO SORT THROUGH IT ONE DAY SO WHEN I AM GONE, THERE WON'T BE SO MUCH STUFF TO GO THROUGH FOR EVERYONE..

I love to scrapbook. I get alot of stuff of the internet for free. As long as i have a printer I can print all the stuff out and its a breeze.

I really enjoy digital scrapbooking....Do you do that as well? I can share links it you would like.

I'm sorry to hear that you're without work. You are the 4th person today I have heard say this. Very hard times!!!

I started scrapbooking about a year ago. I've really enjoyed it. I made two scrapbooks for Christmas gifts and have two others in process right now...a baby album for my youngest and my wedding album.

If money is a issue only use 40 or 50% off coupons at Joannes or Micheals to buy supplies.
Look on craigslist to see what supplies people are selling in bulk. Orential trading has great prices on alot of scrapbooking items also

The other key is to make sure your supplies are organized and clear out the stuff you wont use once a year.
