We'll I'm back from my visit with my grandchildren! I had a nice trip up North. I stayed with my youngest daughter, her husband and my two youngest grandchildren. My son, who is the oldest, and his family stopped by Sunday. The only one I didn't get to see was my middle daughter and her three children. Maybe next time. The weather was the same as here in Myrtle Beach, no rain, just cool with some sun. I was there from Saturday afternoon through Tuesday morning. DH went to visit his family at the same time.

This is the youngest, getting ready to go. She's eating a "sticky" known as a lolly or Lollipop to us.
We took the children to the mall Monday to get their pictures taken. I'll scan them and post them another day. I took some photos at the mall when they rode the carousel. What a shock the cost of a two minute ride on the carousel was. How do young families afford it I wonder. Of course I didn't mind being a grandmom but $2.00 each is a little expensive IMHO. They loved it. Of course going down the hall to the carousel there are all the other little rides that bounce up and down, the claw machines and other nonsense that kids just love. We are lucky that the girls are young enough we can get away with telling them the machines are broke and the carousel is more fun than the bouncing rides. I didn't even check the price of them.

Mom.

Second to youngest and Mom.

The oldest grand daughter loves to have her photo taken. She'd be sure to look for me as they came around.
On Tuesday morning DH picked me up pretty early. We headed back to Cape May, NJ to visit with his sister. She's so nice, she always lends DH one of their cars when he goes back home for a visit. Spirit Airlines doesn't fly into Philadelphia, the closest Philadelphia is the Atlantic City airport. He would have to rent a car each time he went to visit. So we toured Cape May, and saw some of the beautiful houses in the area. Of course I took some photos of her garden where the crocus were just beautiful and also of some lovely sights in Cape May. We wanted to walk on the beach but it was too windy making it really cold. Here's a few photos, I'll post the rest later.

Daffodil and pretty crocus

I'm still trying to catch up on some comments. I did about two hours on my group, and still I'm not finished. I turned my notifications off but my e-mail was over 1,000 any way. I have no idea how that happened after I spent almost an hour unchecking all the notification boxes after each connection's name. What a waste of time that was. I will be finishing the comments and thank you pings by Sunday, or at least that is the plan. Until then, thanks to all of you who continued to comment on my postings while I was gone. That was a nice surprise.

Which side of the family does the red hair come from? It is on both sides of my family but seemed to end with my brother and myself.
