So today before getting ready to clock out at the auto parts store I woek with, I was lucky enough to have to ring out my "1st angry customer." It was horrible and quite annoying. So he wanted some window tint. I rang it up and told him the price, he then handed me his credit card, (and you are always souppose to ask if it is debit or credit?) so i did. He said "Debit" but when i ran his card through it automatically went through as credit. So i assumed he gave me the wrong card and it wouldnt be a big deal. So i told him, and he (in a very snotty way) told me that was unaccectable. So then I had to refund the window tint and try it again. So when i rang him up again, i made him watch the screen and it went straight to credit again. (BECAUSE IT WAS A CREDIT CARD NOT A DEBIT!!) He then threw a fit and said "well i do not need this anyway." So then i had to return the window tint once again. It was insane. I don't see what the big deal was. After working in retail for the past like 3 years I do everything in my power to be nice to people at stores because I know how it feels having customers be angry. But whatever. Anyone have any similar customer horror stories? lol
