Grandmothers Are Supposed to Protect Children

 

A 4 year old boy was found beaten by his druggy grandmother.Angela Barksdale 45,doesn't deserve to be called a grandmother. I hope she spends several years behind bars.

Kevion Shand, died of blunt impact injuries and brain hemorrhaging. He was found unconscious and unresponsive with signs of trauma to his little body: injuries to his head, face and jaw.

 

I wonder how this can happen. All the wonderful grandmothers on Gather would never hurt their grandchildren.

I read an article like this and close my eyes to see what this little boy endured and it makes me cry.

 

God help us if we are becoming murderers of children.

I couldn't hurt my grandchildren to save my life. And I wouldn't let anyone else hurt them either.

Very crazy. We had a grandmother pimp out her granddaughter who I think was 10 at the time so that she could get drugs from the guy. This happened many years ago and I still haven't forgotten about it because of that poor little girl. There are many sick people in this world.

The fact that the death was caused by a "grandmother" is irrelovent. Whoever does such a thing needs to be "isolated" from human society for life.

I agree Donald. But grendma's are special people who love and sharing cookies with grand babys. They just don't beat them to death. That woman should be but down just like an animal.

She is NOT a grandmother. She is a murderer and a child abuser. That is her new name for life. I hope it was worth it, for whatever rage she was obviously experiencing.

It's devastating..........the cycle of abuse just goes on and on if intervention doesn't come in.

It's a sad fact of life that many of us are far less than humans should be. Its always happened and no amount of laws or police/social workers will ever do much to stop it. All we can do as individuals is try to stop it when we see it and love our own children/gandchildren.

Trying to get into the minds of such creatures is a waste of time, to understand them is to sink to that level.

Beyond terrible. Beyond words.
I hope the parents weren't abusers too...when we were foster parents we saw way, too much, and ow, did it hurt.
