I'mMy car broke down last week and cost me over $300 to fix (alternator) and today again it's broken. My neighbor looked at it for me tonight and said its over heating something to do with the thermastat. He's not sure but it would be just my luck that I have to spend more money I don't have
My car is a Mercury Sable and has 160,000++ miles. My dad says its going to start costing me more and more and more now and I should trade it in before it completely dies. I dont think I can get much for it so I think I have to keep it. I am so fed up with it that I wish I could jsut get someone to buy it for cash but i won't be able to sell it until I fix it.
I am so frustrated!!!!!

That's a good car. I suggest you replace all your belts that are worn and check your gas filter. I've seen cars like this with over 460,000 miles.
