Why Is It That the first 1,000 points

seem to come fairly easily but the last 500 to cash out seem to come in spoonfuls?  It's really annoying that no matter how hard I try, points are coming in at a snail's pace.  I don't even get excited about cashing out until my points get up to about 1,000 but then it seems like I have to work ten times as hard to get those last 500 points.

For me it's the last 13 points that comes the slowest. *lol*

I swear Gather has some program that knows when you are close to cashout. Even when I post/comment more, the points don't come as fast. I think they do it to keep you motivated.
