The deal I got at walgreens yesterday

I had the coupon from Sundays walgreens ad for a case of water for 2.99. I went to walgreens yesterday and that brand of water was all gone. none on the shelf. I seen an employee nearby stocking shelves so I showed her the coupon and asked if they had anymore. she went to check and when she returned she said we are sold out so we are substituting it with poland springs. so I bought 2 cases of poland springs water for 2.99 each. 24 bottles in a case.

I find it pays to ask at Walgreens...every time I've gotten the name brand for the store coupon price!

Thanks for the comments everyone:) I didn`t know that they substitute either. I haven`t been shopping there long though. it has just been the past few weeks that I see really great deals with the coupons in their ad. I will be shopping there more often.
