Walmart Gang Initiation Report

Reports of Walmart Gang initiations are false.  This is just a rumor and has been around since 2005.  I am no fan of Walmart, but this is ridiculous.  These are just false reports.  Police in three states confirmed there is not truth to the Walmart Gang Initiation reports.

Port Arthur Police report people receiving text messages that three women will be shot as part of a gang initiation at Walmart.  That's so sad.  I'm sure people are terrified to go shopping.

The reports have been checked out and are just rumors.  Will you stay away from a store if you received a message like this?  It seems a lot of people are taking this seriously.  What a shame.

I imagine that it was started by people who hate Walmart. There are many out there who do and try to get others not to shop there. This is going too far in my opinion. It is a sick thing to do and I hope people recognize it for what it is, terror tactics to ruin Walmarts business.

I have a feeling few will be convinced enough to avoid Walmart.

It certainly would not keep me out of Walmart. Just like the shootings that actually happened did not keep me out of chain stores, like Radio Shack where shootings occured.

I wouldn't stay out of Wal-mart for this reason, but I would stay out of Wal-mart because of the way they treat "Walmart guests." I agree that this is just a rumor, but what's scary is that some punk may just use it. It's all over the place.

Probably about 10 years ago the rumors were rampant here in my city that the gangs were going to do this sort of thing at shopping centers and grocery stores, and because the gangs had been found to kill as part of initiation it was very frightening at that time. But nothing of the sort happened. I hadn't heard this latest fear mongering.

I just got an email from a girlfriend, and imediately went to search online . She mentioned that this was confirmed on the T.V. I rarely shop at Walmart but was planning on going tonight. I'll just play it safe and go tomorrow. I prefer shopping at Target anyway.

I recieved 2 texts this morning from friends scared to go to walmart tonight. I just laughed it off and went online to investigate. One of my friends even saw it on the news this morning! I think it is so funny that one of my other friends decided to call the news stations here in oklahoma and give them the real info is astounding. I think she should be a reporter!!
