Or Talking Points of the month
- "The budget is a radical proposal that will change the character of our nation, trampling on freedom and liberty."
- "The only approach that has not been tried is the conservative approach - limited bureaucracy, lower taxes, and responsible regulatory structures."
- "The administration is disingenuous, unfocused, and reckless."
They will repeat this over and over. Right wing blogs and and Talk Radio will pick up, eventually, right wingers will repeat this or a version of it as if Rush Limbaugh said it was true. Wait, a minute. He wrote it up and gave it to Michael Steele to distribute. Never mind. Must be true.
Lacking in all these points, is of course an alternative. When that alternative comes it will be Lower taxes, let the market take care of itself. What else is new? U

It is hilarious that these people think we'll believe they have no stake in keeping the status quo. They have raked in immense amounts of money in the current economy, and want to keep doing so.
That this budget is unsupportable and less than honest is also unquestionable. Until recently, no one even knew that the new budget and projections are based on 0% percent interest rates by economists Christine Romer/Jared Bernstein. That and unrealistic economic growth projections make this a pretty dangerous budget.
The Repubs though labor under the recent spending messes of Bush's compassionate "conservatism". Because of that, their valid points are being too often ignored while the Dems have yet to be tarred with their ballooning messes. Time will not be kind to Dems either and again the revolving doors will turn as Repubs likely return to power.
