When looking for an alfredo recipe the other night, I ran across this recipe. It would be great to have sauce mix already stored like the kind you buy from the store, but I'm curious how to store this with the cheese in it. Would this be the kind of mix I would need to freeze because of the cheese?
Ingredients:
1 cup instant nonfat dry milk
2 teaspoons grated romano or parmesan cheese
1/3 cup dried minced onion
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon white pepper
Directions:
Measure all ingredients into a zip-top bag, seal and shake to combine.
To use mix, combine 1/4 cup noodle mix with 2 tablespoon melted butter and 1/4 cup milk. Toss with pasta.
