During the afternoon of March 13, I made my way from El Dorado Hills CA to Santa Rosa CA, stopping at a few wineries along the way.
I left the hotel around 11:00 and made my way to Napa around 12:30. My first stop was Etude Winery.

From here I went to lunch and then walked around Target.

Back on the road again heading to Sonoma. I stopped at the Madonna Estates Winery. Didn't have any wine here but stopped to take some pictures and walk around a bit.

Awards won by the winery

Back in the car and down the road a bit more I found another (you guessed it) winery. The Folio Winery.

And the last winery of the day - Nicholson Ranch.

After leaving Nicholson Ranch, I made my way into Sonoma where I stopped at Sonoma Traintown but that's another photo essay.
I arrived at my cousin's house a little after 4:00. On Saturday we toured around the area and stopped for more wine. When in Rome.... or Sonoma County.
Stayed tuned for An Afternoon in Wine Country - March 14 and Sonoma Traintown.

It would be great, if we could pass a glass of wine through the screen:)
Looks like a great place to visit.
This would be a dream come true for me;
I've always wanted to go on a winery tour!
