Or well, that's what I should've named it anyway. I had the day free and decided to get some cooking done while I could. I've been really trying to cook some things up in advance, both because it's healthier and cheaper to cook things myself.
For the upcoming weeks, I made two different sets of granola bars (chocolate chip and peanut butter chocolate chip). Instead of doing banana nut bread again with our leftover bananas, I tried a new banana cookie strip thing (they're kinda crunchy instead of cookie-like).
Before I started cooking those, I made some pita dough and let it rise while the others were in the oven. By the time they were all done, I was able to bake it into pitas (figured I should just get several things baked at a time while the oven was on anyway).
For supper, I made fettucine alfredo with a sauce recipe I'd never tried before and it was delicious.
Afterward, I used up some leftover elbow macaroni from the night (intentionally made some extra) before and turned it into two different kinds of pasta salad to try.
Boy was it a busy day! I'll be posting all the recipes I tried out soon. :D
