Technology is a marvelous thing, and because of things like webcams and the Internet, Deb has been able to be a big part of this trip. Still, it is hard to be away for so long. Next time, we'll do this trip together.
It is hard to be away from one's partner. Shan has been to Japan 3 or 4 times and I miss him so much. I want to be there and watch his face as he sees something of beauty. I'm glad next time you will be able to travel together.
The coloring is beautiful. When I see pictures of flowers, I try to imagine what they smell like, too. This one really perked me up. I might stay awake another two hours, now.
It's a perfect rose, a beautiful photo, and a loving gesture. Since I've been in contact with both of you (Tonia via Gather, Debbie via email) during this time, I, too, have felt the loneliness of your separation.
So you are home at last. I'm sure over the next several weeks we will see loads of images of the Land Down Under. I'm really curious. Perhaps someday I'll be able to make that trip.
