AN EARLY MORNING WALK IN KISSIMMEE

An early morning walk here in Kissimmee, Florida today, just as the sun was coming up - everything was beautifully misty...

Orange Lake

The other side, barely visible

Gulls waiting for the sun

Fishing seems to be good...

Along the shore

Dewdrops, or rather, "mist" drops...

A perfect view of Orange Lake... could almost be painted by Turner...

Fern all rolled up, "mist" drops clearly visible...

Its brothers are all extended already...

Ducks out for an early stroll

Something red growing up throught the wood chips covering the ground

No idea what this is - just pretty...

More unknowns...

Bird of paradise - to me, this spells tropics...

A last shot of a gorgeously flowering tree...

Just wanted to share the beauty!

Looks like you're having a lovely vacation Cristina ;-) Gorgeous shots!! The lavendar flowers are lantana...it comes in a variety of colors, I have that shade, white and a multi-colored variety of orange, red, and yellow they call California Sunset ;-)

I love the mist. Last Friday it was raining here and we saw ducks walking along the street. Today it felt like summer and I pulled the grass out from around the new fern growth.

Yes Rose, I did get up at seven, but keep in mind that I was in the vestiges of jet lag for a while :-)

CF, the fog was burned off by the good Florida sun every day, but it was really beautiful!
