My eyelids droop and interfere with my field of vision. I have almost no vision at the top of the field of vision and on the side of one eye so I am constantly walking into things on that side.
My Ophthalmologist sent me to another Ophthalmologist that does eye surgery. Turns out he doesn't do the surgery I need. My problem is that the muscles in the eyelids don't work properly so they need to be attached to the muscles in the eyebrows. For this surgery you need a special Ophthalmologist that does plastic surgery.
Of course this kind of surgeon and surgery is not covered by my insurance plan as it is normally considered plastic surgery. I'm waiting for my approval now.
I'm curious if anyone has been through this kind of surgery and can tell me what to expect.

They had to take someof the skin off and she had stitches for a few weeks and then you can see her scars which is not a huge yucky one its a really thin line but covers up real good with eyeshadows
hope it works out well for you :)
Best Wishes!
Your insurance should cover it because it's a medical condition.
Best of Luck to You Ariel
Prayers and hugs being sent.
I hope they say yes and you quit walking into things.
YOU ARE A WINNER!
