This probably has to be the most dangerous cake recipe out there. This
recipe makes only one individual cake (or you can half it if you are feeling
generous) and only takes 5 minutes to make. From start to finish. Perfect
for those snowed in days when you are feeling sorry for yourself because you
can't get out of the house. Perfect for a quick snack for kids who are home from school. Fun to make for kids sleep over parties. Perfect....well....for any ol' time you need a chocolate fix.
CAUTION: The simplicity of this will surely temp you to make one anytime
you want a chocolate fix. Be careful. Watch your thighs and hips. These
little cakes tend to settle in those areas.
All you need it a standard sized coffee cup or mug and the following
ingredients:
4 Tbsp flour
4 Tbsp sugar
2 Tbsp cocoa
1/8 Tsp baking powder (the original recipe didn't call for this, but I used
it and it rose nicely and wasn't so dense)
1 egg
3 Tbsp milk
3 Tbsp oil
3 Tbsp chocolate chips (optional. This will make it more gooey)
a small splash of vanilla
Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly.
Pour in the milk and oil and mix well. Add the chocolate chips (if using)
and vanilla extract, and mix well.

Put our mug in the in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts
(high). The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed.
It will relax once it stops cooking.

Enjoy!

***other options:
*Drizzle with hot fudge or caramel before eating.
*Add chopped nuts to the mix before baking.
*Minted chocolate chips are good, too.
*Serve fresh raspberries sprinkled around it.

And let's face it, no self-respecting chocoholic doesn't have these ingredients in the house (along with a batch of drunken cream)
Thanks for the tip!
