Today I went to Curves, and my left leg was tight behind the knee, so I wanted to walk it out. I used to walk from one end of San Luis Obispo to the other when I was in my 40s, because it was flat; there were no hills. As this town where I live is full of hills and hollows, I had to look for flat ground. So I went to Walgreens, parked my car, walked through the store, went across the street, walked past some more stores, went between two buildings back to the rest of the stores, went back to Walgreens, got in my car, and drove to Big Lots next door, and walked around in Big Lots, and drove home. Then when I got home, the pain was still there, so I had to walk some more. I went from my house to my friend's house, and we walked some more. I think I finally loosened it up.
There just isn't enough walking area in this town. I have tried to walk up hills, and it simply does not work. Does anybody else have this problem?

1. I take Fosamax because I have Osteopenia. That is not quite Osteoporosis, but since I broke my foot, my doc put me on it.
2. There is no mall in this hick town. That is why I have to just park my car and walk through stores and stuff. There are no cemeteries, either; one has to travel just to get buried.
3. I don't do treadmills at all, because for one thing, Curves doesn't have them (Yay!) and I don't think they would work for me.
I hope you get the cramp out of your leg soon. You might look for a local track. Some places have indoor gymnasiums they will let you walk around.
