Ok... Me and Greg are down to the 2 names for baby boy #2!

I kept saying one name, then the other would pop up, then the other, so my mind was playing see-saw with the names, and Me and greg are in a toss up between

John (johnny) Edward Burgin

(the John from my dad, landon john, and my dad's dad, john hugh)

or

Bradley (brad) Edward Burgin

(Bradley after my mom's mom's maiden name)

And the name edward is passed down from greg and his pa-pa for the middle name :)

 

We're gonna play with both, see over the next 3 months which one we like, because it doesnt have to be certain until its time to sign the papers :) plus i want a name before hand anyway so that i can get more in touch with my baby before I have him, because he will have a name, not just "the baby"

I personally like Bradley, but then again...I have a brother named Johnny...plus I love the name Edward for a middle name. So I can understand why it is hard to pick a name. However, it will be exciting to see which one you choose!

I LOVE Bradley because of what you say it symbolizes. If Baby's going to have Daddy's family middle name and last name, I think it's so COOOL that his first name could be a maiden name of a mother on YOUR side of the family. I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE THAT!!!

Oh. My cousin just had a baby girl, and gave the girl her paternal grandmother's maiden name as a first name, since the name worked very well for a girl.

I dont get to have a girl... *sighs* If this one was a girl, she would be named Katheryne Mae, Katheryne after one of my mom's grandmas and Mae after my Granny, my dad's mom :)

I vote for Brad. His initials will be B.E.B. With John, his initials will be J.E.B.

I think both names are cool. You can always wait until he's born and see which one "fits" his personality better.

Both names are cute!! That's a hard decision....for both of my kids their names just kind of came to me...that sounds weird huh...but I believe that God already had their names picked out and all He did was inform me of what they were....

I like the Bradley Edward combo best per your reasons for the name. John is a good name, it's my husbands first name. John is more common than Bradley.

With my youngest we decided on Jordan. Jordan Jeremiah if it was a boy....(Jeremiah was my Dads name) Jordan Johanna if it was a girl ...(Johanna was my Dad's grandmothers name) It was a girl... :)

I liked that we picked the same first name for either as I could call the baby inside me Jordan.

I named my oldest son John, and his dad's first name as the middle one. That was how my family did it. The second one wasn't so easy, but I just took my cousin's first name, and picked one out of the air. It turned out okay. Then for the third son, there was a different dad, so it was easy again. My boys are 36, 40 and 44, and they haven't complained.
