Well, Alex is here, and she's been an absolute doll. She was upset a bit when it was time to leave with us, and say bye to her momma, but she settled down quickly, and enjoyed the car trip back here. When we came into town, I stopped by the store to grab some Alex-friendly snacks.
She loves cottage cheese right now, so I picked that up, as well as some yogurt, and cereal. We passed by some pink juice (V8 Smoothie Strawberry Banana), and she immediatly pointed and said "Pink juice!", so of course, Aunt Heather caved and bought that kind for her.
While we were there, I saw an adorable summer dress, and a cute summer outfit that were each fairly inexpensive, so I spoiled her a bit. Her mom doesn't do dresses, so any that she has are from other people.
Brooke let me know that we're smack in the middle of potty training, so while we were at the store, we tried to use the potty, but she does NOT like big potties.
As soon as we got home, she said "OOoh! Rae Rae's house!", so she remembers the house. We came in, and right away, she reminded me that she had to go potty, so I took her in with her little seat, and she went right away. A little while later, she got a wide eyed expression, and said "Uh oh! Potty!", so I took her in- she'd started to have an accident, but stopped herself to use the potty.
She's gotten so big!
Right now, she's playing fetch with Gillian. Alex is throwing things, and Gillian is fetching them. She has a bowl with a few dry fruit loops in it, and her requested pink juice. She's been so good all afternoon!

I bet you will all have a great night, but with a toddler missing Mommy can be a big thing, so I hope she will go to bed without any problems.
I love how she is laying on the cats bed.
