Woman Adds Ajax to Dairy Queen Malts

An employee of a Ferndale Dairy Queen says she “accidentally” poured Ajax into the malt dispenser, sickening two customers, according to court documents.

 

Alexandra Margot Georgia Dale, 44, has been charged with two counts of first-degree assault in connection with the poisoned malts.

Two men reported burning sensations in their mouth and on their tongue after consuming the malt beverages from a Dairy Queen located in the 5600 block of Riverside Drive on Feb. 25.

Ouch!  Chemical burns on your tongue and esophagus can't be fun.  There is no way she could of accidentally poured Ajax into the malt machine.  Absolutely no way!  Looks like she has a bunch of different stories as to how and why the Ajax got into the machine.  She's probably gonna do some time in the slammer.

Oh my gosh, how absolutely horrible........and sick. There is NO way that could have been an "accident." Good grief.....that's insane! I sure do hope she'll do some time......that is disgusting!

Yeah, there is really no way that a person could mistake Ajax for chocolate milk. I think the more important question is why she did it.

Ouch that had to hurt!
I'm wondering if she was just "wondering what would happen" thinking that it would be so diluted that it wouldn't "really" hurt anyone. Or that they wouldn't be able to trace it back to the Dairy Queen and then to her. I just watched a "Outrageous Behavior Caught On Tape!" show about employees doing things on hidden cameras.

how does someone "accidentally" pour ajax into the mix?!?! come on! that's so totally ridiculous. i feel bad for those that suffered from it. horrible!

Doesn't sound like an accident to me. I can't see how you could mistake Ajax for chocolate.

My hubby worked for Dairy Queen when he was younger he says there is no chance someone could do this accidently. He said it is possible they could have gotten ajax powder mixed in with the malt powder but to actually dump ajax into the machine by mistake Not going to happen. The woman needs prosecuted
