May god help us all!!! I can honestly say I am so greatful to have a job in these hard times. I feel for anyone who has lost theirs due to the economy .. or can't find one. Even with having a job and working 6 days a week I am still living paycheck to paycheck. I just pray this economy lifts back up. Michigan really needs it. So many people here want to work ... but we don't have any jobs. =(
This economy is really rough ..
How are you making it thru these hard times?

He is in the busy season now at work which also helps.
I know it seems scary, especially if the President is acting as if this has not happened since the 1940s. But it has and we have all survived before without the government becoming a socialist government. We survived without Big Brother taking over our lives before. We can again.
In 1975-77 the unemployment rates were 7.5 to 9%. Same thing in the years 1981-84, except in some months the nationwide average got as high as 10.8%. And in 1992, there were at least 6 months were we were over the 7.6% registered for January of this year.
We have seen worse times and we didn't need to panic then and don't need to panic now.
Some say to have 4-6 months of wages saved up, but if I lived paycheck to paycheck, with little excess room for emergencies, I would be way behind in debt by now. Dropping a few luxuries would not have cut it.
We are so thankful for the jobs we do have and hope to keep
