Firstly I would like to say that I love my dog Roxy, but I did not consider how much work having a puppy would be!
Yesterday she jumped on my fact. She left a huge scratch down the side of my face, luckily it's not deep so it won't scar.
She also chews up all of my 5 year old's tennis shoes. In fact Akaiysha (my daughter) has gone through 4 pairs of shoes since Roxy came to live with us! (Which has only been a couple of weeks) No matter how high I put the shoes, Roxy manages to get them. Usually she grabs KK's shoes as soon as they are off Akaiysha's feet.
She chews up all of my daughter's stuffed animals and all of my one year old son's toy cars.
Don't even get me started on potty training. If you would like to talk about something next to impossible!! It seems I clean up dog poo and pee at least 10 times a day! My hands have lost all moisture from washing so much.
On the brighter side of things my floors are nice and clean from all the mopping/shampooing I get done to get rid of nasty dog toilet!!!
What can I do? I haven't had a dog since my pitbull Ellymay died about 3 years ago, and Elly was a dog....a very good potty trained calm dog!!
Roxy also waits until the kids are in bed fast asleep to exercise her voice box....she will then run from KK to Mason's room barking at the top of her lungs!!
SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!

My mother lab Never was a bad as her Baby Oh My........
But what you got to do Is get a new paper or water bottle and when she goes near the shoes tell her NO and if after 3 times of telling her NO and she keeps trying to get the shoes sad to say But either spank her with the new paper or spray her with the water bottle thats what i'm doing with zoey the 9 month old one ..
Once your roxy is a yr old It will get better Trust Me....
BUT if she doesn't go potty outside she gets NO snack that way she learns she has to go potty outside that's what my vets told me to do....

Our labs favorite "toy" is his swimming pool! It's just one of those cheap little, hard sided kiddie pools... less than a foot deep! He seems very mellow when he's resting in there!!
poo training is usually easy do not feed them until you are ready to walk them as soon as they eat its time to do their business. peeing is a lot harder to break unless you have a yard they can spend a lot of time outside in.
If it starts with a "G," it's All Good! Thanks for your support!
