What would you say if you knew that billions of your taxpayer dollars being put into jobs created by the economic stimulus law, could end up being filled by illegal immigrants ? Worse yet, since illegal immigrants, more often than not, send much, if not most, of their pay back to their homelands, most of these billions will create exactly the opposite effect they were supposed to have.
Instead of boosting the economy, they will harm it more, by the loss of all these billions from our economy. It's as if "our" Congress, by ignoring the job loss created by illegal alien hiring, and the resulting remittances losses, has decided to beat up our ragged economy even more, and more. By refusing to back the Sessions amendment which would have extended the mandatory E-Verify system nationally, to cross check job applicants with the Social Security Administration, Congress is purposely crippling our economy, when they are supposed to be curing its ills. A list of the "What are they thinking" members of Congress who voted this way is in the USA Today article. Every American should know who these villains are, and give them hell for it.

Just a thought. If anyone voted for them ... you got what you voted for.
For those of us that didn't vote for these guys REBELL, TEA PARTY time. Go to the opposite extreme DON'T: buy food from other countries, don't hire illegals or employers that can't verify and try not to hurt the legal immigrants.
This isn't an all perfect answer but it's a start.
Nearly every Democratic senator, including, Sen. Leahy (D-VT) voted in favor of tabling it in a 50 to 47 motion. U.S. Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala., offered the reauthorization amendment to the omnibus spending bill, including an amendment to the Stimulus bill. His legislation would have allowed the program going for another six years. Chances are it will still run until September according to the Sen. Sessions. The main culprits involved to killing of E-verify was Sen.Harry Reid and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
Without the successful e-Verify program running illegal aliens will continue to appropriate jobs, that should go to the 6 million plus unemployed. Americans and legal residents their jobs and homes in dire straights. The United Stated cannot continue to educate, give free health insurence and a wide spectrum of social benefits, that is costing the taxpayer hundreds of billions a year.
The ominous US Chamber of Commerce and special interest lobbyists are the main cause of overpopulation, traffic chaos, pollution and the devastating effect of farmland turned into concrete for housing. The American worker is in a crisis situation, but Democrats to appease special interest organizations, have sold their loyalty for corporate campaign contributions.

I might add that Democrats are selling their loyalty and responsibilties also, for votes from illegal aliens (voting illegally) particularly in districts (San Francisco), and states (Nevada), where these the numbers of these illegals have grown greatly.

Gutierrez and Pelosi are committing treason by encouraging foreign invaders to continue to invade this country, occupy it, and steal our wealth ($45 Billion year in remittances alone). They should be arrested and imprisoned.
As for the raids, we need many more of them, together with a tough crackdown on document fraud, and full use of the E-verify system.
This statement seems to indicate that Gutierrez believes "families" anywhere (Mexico,
Russia, Algeria, Poland, Ireland, Guatemala, Panama, Brazil, China, Egypt, Sudan, China,
Tanzania, etc. etc.) are the cornerstone of our society. By that definition, we wouldn't have a society, other than the whole world (certainly not a nation).
