I own renter homes and unfortunately at great expense to myself and after having tried to resolve the issue by offering to let them even make token payments..I mean by saying tell me what you CAN do and I'll work with you..and waiting for a response for 2 months...
am forced to reluctantly take action
I till can not in Alabama trash the homeowners things...I can ..under the supervision of a policeman ..hire a crew to remove the contents to the curb.

My mother was a Realtor and had to hire people to clean out foreclosed homes all of the time. It is very sad and I just don't understand why people leave their belongings behind. On the flip side, we've seen homes completely demolished by the outgoing homeowners. They rip out sinks, smash tubs and turn the water on and leave. I guess they figure they are sticking it to the bank. It's all really sad. I'm thankful that I've never personally been through a foreclosure.

Yes, jenn, Lisa, I too have had property trashed by renters, I can only think that they also did not own a lot of this stuff they left behind, a credit cards unpaid for!

Some people just don't care how they live. I have seen things after moving to Florida that literally made me think WTF. As I was not raised that way. I do not judge people. But when it comes to filth, I turn my nose up.
