Grocery shopping part 1

I was just telling my husband how much sweets I am eating so I decided I am going to buy more fruits and hopefully that would keep me from snacking on the chocolate and other sweets and it sure did. I was looking yesterday for some good deals on fruits and I sure have found some. This is what I got

3 boxes of strawberries for $5

cantaloupe 99 cents for each

10 pounds of Florida oranges for $5

5 pounds of Florida tangerine for $3.79

 

I haven't seen fruits so cheap in while

 

Have you got any good deals on fruits recently??

Those are great deals! I bought some apples and grapes this week. Both were on sale but I can't remember how much they were. Your fruit looks yummy!

I've picked up Chilean seedless green and red grapes for $1.29 a pound and bananas for 39 cents a pound.

Rob, 39 cents for bananas that's really good. The cheapest I have seen here were for about 69 cents

Fruit is still kind of high here, but we buy it anyway because we all love it so much. =)

I wish it was summer time so I could get more fruits! I am trying to eat locally & seasonally so I rarely buy fruits from the grocery store! Although a few weeks back strawberries were on sale for 99 cents a carton, so I just couldn't resist!

Fruit does seem to be a lot cheaper lately. I remember looking at oranges last year and not buying them because they were so expensive, but now they are really cheap (at least in comparison to what they were.)
