The Latest Adventures of Mercy and Grace

I just had to share this with you guys.

Gracie has found a new fun thing to do.  At night when I turn out the lights in my room you can see the lights from the cars outside going by on the wall above my headboard and Gracie has decided that it's so much fun to try to attack the light on the wall.  The problem is that the only way for her to get anywhere near the light on the wall is to jump from my pillow which means she lands on my head!  I had to run her off several times last night because I wanted to go to sleep.  She kept coming back and I wanted sleep!

It sounds funny but when I'm trying to sleep, it's not so much fun.  She also likes to sleep on my pillow next to my head, which is fine until she decides to play with my hair that is attached to my scalp.

Now, Mercy likes to attack my broom when I'm trying to sweep.  Last night when I got home, I was trying to sweep and mop the kitchen before I made my dinner and he kept attacking the broom and landing in the trash which made a bigger mess so I finally put him in the carrier while I cleaned.  He's the only cat I've ever had that isn't afraid of the broom and actually enjoys attacking it.

They are fun but sometimes they are a lot of work!  I just thought you animal lovers out there would appreciate the story.
