I am mad at Dr. Phil

I just heard that Dr. Phil is having the octuplet mom, Nadya Suleman, on his show twice this week.  Dr. Phil has already had several shows discussing this issue and i for 1 don't see why he's doing all this for her.   I understand that need to take care of these 14 children but this woman is a nutjob.  Why do we have to hear about her every day?  There are so many other things going on in today's society that can be discussed instead of that Nadya Suleman is getting a new house & 24 hour nursing care for her children.  There are so many families that the hardworking parents have lost their jobs and are struggling to save their homes.  Why isn't Dr. Phil helping them instead.  I don't think that Nadya Suleman deserves all this attention.  It lets other women think that this is OK and you will be taken care of if you do the same thing.

I have to stay out of most of the discussions on this because I am always bothered by the coverage multiples get. I am bothered too because I think (while she definitely has issues to deal with) that race caused her to be scrutinized differently in the first place. Either way I am ready for the coverage to go away.

How is she getting a new home? I don't stay up on this at all. Not a fan of Dr. Phil either. In fact I have never seen his show.

Everyone says that they are tired of hearing about this family, but...well, complaining about hearing about them is still hearing about them.

In the beginning I had my doubts about whether she meant to have 8 babies, and whether she was the one pushing for publicity...but now I see that she has a birth video for sale...starting in the 7 figures.....so...that is sad....

but I ask you this....If you had the chance to sell your birthing video be it one child or 8 and make a hefty sum...enough to pay your bills or pay off a home....would you?
