MRI & Doctor Visit Today

This morning I had an MRI on my C-Spine. I have bad disc and had hit my head getting into my nephews car in December and since then my neck & back pain has been so much worse.

Then had a doctor appointment tonight about my IBS flair up and the results from my MRI were already in! That was really fast! My disc is a lot worse so I will have to see a surgeon and she recommends an epidural for the pain...I don't like big needles :-X

Anyhoo, she thinks I probably have a infection in my intestines so is giving me a couple antibiotics for that.

So, this is all confusing but I picked up a referral tonight because a few weeks ago I found a lump on my back which my doc thinks is some kind of cyst and wants it checked out by a surgeon and it may need to be biopsied. And tonight she put in for me additional referrals for 3 other doctors - the surgeon for my neck, the internal doc for the ibs and I cannot remember what the other one is, lol!

Yikes, I'm falling apart! ::)

Diane, I went through this. I had 3 sururgs on my spine. My L-4 is still broken. I just deal with it now. No more for me. Best of luck to you~

I hope your tests come back alright. I go myself for a mri on the 19th of this month or March. Of both my c-spine and brain. That is only to see how or if my multiple sclrosis has progressed. So it's nothing new for me. I hate having them though. I hope everything comes back alright for you.

I'm so sorry to hear about all this. It sounds painful. I hope that the epidural will work for you. A friend of mine has been going through a series of these and they are working well for her! Hang in there.

Diane, I hope you get good test results, and things work out well at the specialists. I recently had a CT scan which resulted in me being sent to 3 specialists, an eye exam which resulted in being sent to another specialist, and a mammogram which resulted in yet another specialist. Its awful feeling like you are falling apart!

Sorry to hear that. I am, too but I have no insurance so I just live in pain and pray for the best. Hope things work out for you.
