Nostalgia TV: Married with Children

I had to laugh a bit.  The TV was still on Spike TV from last night when I watched the weird 1000 Ways to Die show.  So, this morning after I dropped my daughter off at her P.E. class and my other daughter was playing on the computer in the other room, I sat down to watch TV while I worked on the computer.  Married With Children was on. I remember years ago when this show first came on, my then husband used to watch it constantly. I HATED it. I thought it was the most degrading show. And, it is. but, over time I actually started to laugh at it because it was so over the top.

Anyway, I ended up watching (sort of) 3 episodes of this showing and it really made me laugh. Ed O'Neill (sp?) is a very funny actor. In fact I remember seeing him in another movie, called Dutch that was made many years ago and he was great in that as well.

I just thought it was funny how the show used to offend me so much but now I just see it as an "over the top" exaggeration, sort of like All In The Family's Archie Bunker character all those years ago. And, yes, I know...I'm showing my age! lol
