How nice is this weather!?

We have really been lucky this weekend. The weather here has been pretty sunny and the temperatures have been in the 50s.  A lot of the snow here has melted, although I heard that tonight we are suppose to be getting a few more inches dumped on us tonight or tomorrow morning.  I enjoyed the fact that I could go outside in only a light fleece coat and not be cold! I do not, however, enjoy the mud that is everywhere, but I will put up with it because I know that means that the warm weather of Spring is coming very soon.  This makes me happy!

We have had very nice weather this weekend also. But now the rains are here. But, the good thing is maybe it will wash the rest of the snow away for us.

Our tornado sirens have went off 3 times today. At least I know the City's new emergency notification phone system works. My cell phone rang right before the first siren went off. Now it's really really windy and rainy here.

It was nice thursday and friday here, saturday and today it has rained all day but not been cold til this evening when the wind picked up. We now have a wind advisory and the winds are gusting at 45 mph. then snow is just around the corner they say wed.

It was in the upper 70's today. Suppose to go back to the 50's this week.

Last week at this time the rain was changing into snow for us.
We are batting down and getting ready for a cyclone that is hanging not too far away from us. Where i live we haven't had one for many years and we are long over due one. the rain has started and it is a dull grey day, yet still warm. In a few hours I suppose we'll see what happens. most cyclones fizz out before they reach us, but this one is a category 4 and hasn't changed much overnight.

I heard it hit 60 degrees in Portsmouth! My husband and daughter had the windows open and were airing the house out.....and then I just heard there is a weather advisory in effect for tomorrow.

It's still 74 here and I'm watching a beautiful gulf coast sunset. (Ducking quickly, before you hit me with a frying pan over the back of the head via long distance telepathy!!)

WE had 2 warm days earlier in the week. Has rained the last 2 though and we are under a flood warning now.

The high for tomorrow is 4. Blah. Tuesday the high is -2. Next weekend the highs are supposed to be a little over 30, though. We will see a bunch of people out in shorts if it really does get that warm. Generally anything over about 25 in March and April qualifies as shorts weather up here.

It's 40 degrees and sunny. The snow is melting from the weekend and I might even get the opportunity to take a walk today. Loving this weather.
