Spring is trying to arrive. It always shows first with the daffodils and then the iris. I have more yellow iris than purple because yellow is my favorite color. My purple iris haven't bloomed yet. This year I have early petunias. Woo Hoo.
I live in the Fort Worth area in Texas (out in the country). My iris always bloom this time of the year, the purple ones are slower, but the petunias came up from last years reseeding, they surprised me too as it is early for them. I hope a late freeze doesn't get them.
very nice! I miss seeing the change of seasons. I don't miss snow, rain & dreary weather, but I miss that excitement of spring weather and the flowers finally coming.

I've been puttering around in my vegetable garden today. It's nice outside. My garlic bulbs have sprouted, planted more onions, my tomatoe seeds have sprouted. All are doing well, so far.

Awesome Lee, they're beautiful! I have containers on my balcony with purple bearded iris, grape hyacinth and river lillies from New Jersey here in Phoenix where I've never had a freeze and it's an explosion of green out there but no flowers yet

Today I plan on taking some pictures of our Globe willow which has budded and leafed out already! The Cottonwoods just started, the roses haven't even done anything! Great pictures!

I'm just north of you, in Denton County. My purple iris in my backyard bloom first, then the lavender and white ones. I've tried to plant yellow ones many times, but they all turn out not to be yellow. Wish I could see your yard.
daffodils.......... when i was seven ir eight a neighbor had a whole field of daffodils behind her house.....it was awesome to look at...... points nation
my daffodils are up, I "found" them. the empty house next door has Iris, but they aren't up yet. I have a terrible brown thumb. I'm late, but I'm here! points nation
