What is with some people???

So, last night I actually went to bed earlier than usual (about 10:30) because of the time change and knowing I had to be up early.  I'm laying in bed all nice, relaxed & ready to sleep when the phone rings. Well NO ONE calls me this late at night unless it's an emergency. So I grab the phone thinking something is wrong with a family member/friend, etc. Too startled to check caller ID.

It was one of the homeowners in my community calling me (because I'm on the Board of Directors) to complain about some other neighbors party. I was kind of rude and interrupted her to tell her that she needed to call the non-emergency # for the people if she wanted to report a noise disturbance. She tells me she's not upset about the noise.  She's concerned because they are parked in the grass. You have GOT to be kidding me! LOL  I told her that I was not going out to put stickers on cars to warn them about towing at 11:00 at night. She then proceeds to start complaining about the HOA dues and how she is not going to be paying more for dues because these people's guests have broken sprinkler heads, etc.  I again cut her off and told her she could call & complain to the management company but that I was NOT taking these types of calls at this hour of night.

Good grief!! My phone number has not even been given out. She had to have looked me up in her phone book.   And then she has the nerve to get mad at me because I won't go out there and do something about it. Well, gee, I'm not risking having a bunch of potentially drunk people getting mad at me for putting towing warning stickers on their cars anyway!!

So, after that, I didn't sleep well. And when I woke up at almost 2:00 a.m. (which is 3:00 a.m. due to the time change) I could hear their loud music & laughter, etc. GRRR  I was too out of it to get up and find the non emergency # for police then!

Now I'll have to have our property manager call her back to find out which homeowner had the party and send them a warning letter. I know I'm not calling her back! I want her to LOSE my number!
