i feel lost and lonely......the one i love is not in my reach.....the love of my heart has made a big mistake.......and i grieve..... because he is a good kid and i do not know how to help him...... i am hard nosed when it comes to teens ....but not this one......he is too good..... he just screwed up......his tears burn my flesh......

Your child?

One of the ladies in the cleaning crew stopped to chat one night; I asked her what it was like when your children move out, do you ever stop worrying about them? She said no, you don't, that as much as you hurt watching them go through stuff when they're little, it's when they get 'heart-high' (pointing at her chest) that they hurt us the most. And I have found that to be true....I worry more intensely now than I did when he was living at home, because I can't 'eyeball' him to see if he's okay...
