Ethel M's Chocolate Factory/Cactus Gardens - Las Vegas

One of the places we visited on my last work trip was Ethel M's ChHocolate Factory & Cactus Gardens - just outside of the city.

I thought we might see more of the chocolate being made, but they were having some troubles with the chocolate molds at the time we walked through. We did get a couple of free samples to eat once we made it to the gift shop. Boy were the sweets good there!

We also took a nice walk through the cactus gardens that are just outside of the factory/gift shop. There were so many varieties of cactus there. Here are some of the pictures I took.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I wish I remembered the names of all the cactus, but they were beautiful to see.

I've never seen such a garden that was beautiful without any flowers!

I think I went on that tour in the 80s! I only vaguely remember the cactus garden. I was thinking about taking the tour again next time I'm out there. They do have tasty chocolate... ;)

I can't believe this place is still there, isn't it neat? I enjoyed our visit many moons ago. I have photos on disc. Remember those old disc cameras?

very nice. My parents were there in October and they were decorating the gardens with Christmas lights. That would be nice to see.
