I'm just amazed that there are still tons of people who need the converters, enough that they are selling out in some places. I imagine the same thing was said with the telephone and 911 calls in the beginning too.

We don't have cable because we don't watch that much t.v. anyway...but I think it's ridiculous that they can make us do that....and some people are buying them now while they can still use the rebate...just in case they ever need them...

I have no need for the converters, but I feel that the goverment should not have a say in this.

I'm thankful that we are somehow picking up a signal without having cable, I don't know how but we get some of the basic channels...and no, we don't get our cable illegally.

I have heard that some ppl are getting more channels with the converter...but we don't get any channels!! Maybe it's because we need an antennae on top of our house...

I have Comcast Cable so it never affected me. In all honesty the only people I know that it would affect dont watch Tv in the first place.

Digital provides better definition and the capacity for additional features on television channels, which is particularly advantageous on the kind of intelligent programmes that I prefer. For example, the option to watch a documentary with or without musical soundtrack. In the UK free-to-view programming using a system called Freeview is hugely popular and whereas analogue systems can only cater for a few channels digital can output dozens without the need for cabling.

No, I don't think it is right at all that the goverment is making us do this. All it is doing is lining the pockets of big corparations yet again by the middle class and poor folks of the USA. I bet all rich folk have cable or satilite so it won't affect them.

I think its rediculous, but thats just the way the government works. We have cable so it doesnt really effect me, but I still think its stupid. I agree completey agree with Minipin ? Pixels comment
