Don't you find that to be true?  Expressing yourself through art, whether it be drawing, writing, or just plain scribbling with a crayon can be such a refreshing thing to do!

Nothing is more refreshing for the soul and the mind than creativity. Writing, drawing, crafting, whittling - it's all art. A wreath held together with hot glue, a crocheted doily, a knitted sweater, pieces of colorful craft paper, finger paints......it's a long, long list. Ain't it grand?

I started writing when I lived in a town with no radio, TV, and only a weekly newspaper. If I wanted entertainment, I had to do it myself.
