Thursday is my day off. Today was supposed to be a good, relaxing day. The snow is finally thawing. Spring weather is ahead this week.
My grandfather passed away this evening. I just received a phone call from my dad. I think he was in shock because he didn't sound very sad. It was all very sudden. My grandfather was 81 years old. He was a bit frail, but nothing major. It is extremely shocking and sudden. :( I'm most sad for my grandmother. She was all alone with him when it all happened.
I wish that I could call my husband. It sucks not being able to call him right when I need him. I hope my grandma is okay. I hope my grandpa is in a happy, safe place. I don't know when the memorial service will be, but he will be buried in Illinois, which is too far for me or my sister to travel. :(
I've also had a headache all day. It's just been one of those crappy, nothing good happened days. I wish that I hadn't even gotten out of bed.
