Snake

The other day my teenage son came home from school with some friends. They parked in the second driveway that leads to the deatched garage. My teenager comes running in screaming he wants the camera. I thought what the heck is going on. I grab my cane. As he grabs the camera and out the door we go.

Thats when I noticed the tree over by his friends car. There was a big snake crawling up the tree. My teen panicked and was going to kill the snake. His friends and I talked him out of killing it by telling him it was a corn snake that eats mice, rats and things like that. That we want that type of snake around. So, he just knocked the snake off the tree where it slithered in to the bushes.

We were all talking and asked my teenage son why he wouldn't let the snake just climb the tree. His response.....He was afraid the snake would go all commando on him and jump out of the tree on them. We all started laughing at him. I think he has been watching to many 'Anaconda' movies. What do you think? Oh, I was able to get one picture of the snake before my kid knocked it from the tree. He was pretty long.
