Lately my hubbys snoring has gotten much much worse and its driving me a little crazy. Hes always been stuffed up and nobody could ever tell him why. They would tell him to take alergy meds ect but it never worked. Then they realized he need a CPAP machine, and he used it for a few days and then realized that it was still hard to breath. He needed to get a different mask to be able to wear it, but we would have to wait 6 months to get it. Then he had surgery on his nose to fix the "stuffed up" problem, and that didnt really do anything. So were back to the snoring pretty much everynight. So i'm sleeping in the family room. I dont really mind sleeping in here because the couch is comfy, but I hate the falling alseep in bed part, being woken up by snoring and then having to try to fall back asleep somewhere else.
So does your Significant other snore? What do you do when it happens? Anything you know of to get it to stop? I'm kinda willing to try almost anything.

Did he ever try the "Breathe Right" nasal strips? Possibly they'd help if he's congested. Also, elevating his head while sleeping with an extra pillow. Saline spray or drops can help moisturize his nasal passages.
Is he overweight? Weight does contribute to snoring.
Do you have any pets he might be allergic to?
Something is causing his congestion and you need to find out what it is. I'd recommend seeing an allergist and having a skin test.
As for what I do when he snores, I remember a column Ann Landers wrote many years ago. She said be thankful you have the person you love with you snoring or not. So, I use that to tune it out and I have no problems sleeping.
