Sephora must-haves. Are they endless? Pretty much. But there are some top choices -- and you know you want 'em. I've already shared my Top 5 Sephora Makeup Picks. And to keep ye olde beauty ball rolling, here are my Top 5 Sephora Hair Products. (Next up is skincare, so keep your pretty peepers peeled for that post.) Without further ado, here we go:
1 -- Living Proof No Frizz Styling Treatment
I've really be
en raving about this one lately. Friends and coworkers were sure my pockets had been lined. But no. This stuff's just amazing. MIT scientists actually created a new molecule for the sole purpose of battling frizz. How freakin' cool is that! There are several No Frizz formulas for all hair types; my favorite's the Straight Making No Frizz Styling Treatment. The awesome new molecule, PolyfluoroEster, binds to your hair to resist the moisture and friction that cases frizzies. It also fends off dirt and oil, so you can go longer between shampoos. Sign me up -- for life. Rating: 4/5 stars on Sephora.com. Price: $14 (2 oz.) or $24 (4 oz.)
2 -- Ojon Restorative Hair Treatment
This stuff falls into the Love It or Hate It category. Some say it smells like cigars and coffee. My fiancée actua
lly likes the scent, so thank God for small miracles. It comes in a tub and looks a little like brown Crisco. Scoop a little bit out, warm it in your hands, and it turns into oil. Then slather it on your strands and let the stuff work while you watch painful hours of reality TV, sleep -- whatever. It's made of 100% palm nut oil, which turns your damaged hair into a sleeker, more hydrated mane. Is there a slightly lingering cigars-and-coffee scent? Yes. Is it worth it? Yup. Rating: 4.2/5 stars on Sephora.com. Price: $21 (1.35 oz.) or $55 (5 oz. and comb)
3 -- T3 360° Refresh Volumizing Dry Shampoo
Did ya know:
You shouldn't wash your hair every day (else you'll wash away that precious moisture). That's one of my favorite beauty rules, 'cause it's a great excuse to be lazy. There are tons of dry shampoos on the market now, and T3's 360° Refresh is my favorite. This volumizing dry shampoo cleans your hair without water, and adds volume. It doesn't smell funky. It lasts longer than other brands. And, best of all, it comes in Light, Dark, and Auburn tones, so you'll have no tell-tale residue at your roots. Rating: 3.7/5 stars on Sephora.com. Price: $25
4 -- PHYTO Phyto 9
This cream's for super-dry, porous hair -- basically mine, and a lot of other highlighted heads reading this post. The "9" comes from the nine special plant ingred
ients like macadamia oil, soybean, and burdock -- stuff that would excite me if I cared about natural ingredients. But I pretty much just want it to work. It hydrates dry ends, smoothes frizz, and actually repairs damage -- great for fragile bangs and that under-the-ponytail area that's prone to breakage. My favorite part: You can use this on wet or dry hair and add more throughout the day. And it never gives you the greasies. Rating: 4.6/5 stars on Sephora.com. Price: $26
5 -- Oscar Bla
ndi Proteine di Jasmine Protein Mist
Don'tcha hate it when you go to bed with awesome hair and wake up with mophead? Well, products like the T3 dry shampoo will take care of those oily roots. And this stuff is like the paddles of life ("clear!") for the rest of your 'do. This protein mist refreshes your look on day 2 (or 3, or 4 -- I won't tell). It has soy and wheat proteins, which detangle and seal the cuticle. The result? More shine, less lifelessness. It also protects from the heat and abuse of flat irons and whatnot. Oh yeah, and it smells like happiness. Rating: 4.2/5 stars at Sephora.com. Price: $18

It wasn't that great. I am the first to try all new products or any product/makeup for that matter. It really weighed my hair down and I bought the lightest version available. I also have very sensitive skin and very rarely break out unless a product is too greasy/oily. I ended up with a huge zit on my cheek from my hair touching my face. No frizz but even in the lightest version it was too heavy and too greasy. Left me with limp hair. BUT thank goodness Sephora's policy is a full refund even if you gave the product a try and just didn't like it.
Happy Saint Patrick´s Day to you!
