According to a 2001 article in U.S. News & World Report, Limbaugh had an eight-year contract, at the rate of $31.25 million a year.[16] On July 2, 2008, Matt Drudge reported that Limbaugh signed a contract extension through 2016 that is worth over $400 million, breaking records for any broadcast medium — television or radio.[17] THERE IS NO DOUBT IN MY MIND THIS MAN DOSE NOT WANT OBAMA TO RAISE TAXES

We have : Limbaugh graduated from Cape Central High School, in 1969. His father and mother wanted him to attend college, so he enrolled at Southeast Missouri State University. He dropped out after two semesters and one summer; according to his mother, "he flunked everything", even a modern ballroom dancing class.[5]
having a discussion about the political responsibilities of the government with:
Barack Obama :Obama is a graduate of Columbia University and Harvard Law School, where he was the first African American president of the Harvard Law Review. He worked as a community organizer in Chicago prior to earning his law degree, and practiced as a civil rights attorney in Chicago before serving three terms in the Illinois Senate from 1997 to 2004. He also taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School from 1992 to 2004.
But then again, Rush is not really an American Conservative. He's just a bombastic entertainer who makes tons of money by calling certain types of Americans traitors and cowards; even when some of those Americans are soldiers and veterans.
Rush is a sincere when he says that he cares about this country. Maybe you disagree with what he would like to happen, but don't sit there and say all he cares about is keeping money that he will never spend.
Limbaugh is an entertainer who gets paid large amounts of money for saying controversial things. I was happy to see that Michael Steele figured this out although I wasn't happy when he was forced to backpedal. I would guess that Republican leaders privately view Limbaugh as something between an annoyance and a threat.
--unlike that idiot Joe the Plumber, who actually stood to benefit financially from the Obama tax reform that he so vehemently opposed.
Don thanks for that perspective. Yup, Rush is sincere. He is especially sincere when he is hateful, which is every time he talks.
Donna- wow, that is an eye opener about Rush's lack of education. No wonder he hates "elitists"- he is uneducated so he envies them, and feels smug that he is better paid than any of them, thanks to his similarly uneducated followers.
Limbaugh left college because he was bored with the typical liberal anti-American leftist professor's who like terrorist pal of Obama's, Bill Ayers "who teaches in our schools".
Rush Limbaugh is a great American story of a man who with sheer audacity of hope and hard work achieved the American Dream. the dream that the likes of socialist, like General Obama find greedy and repugnant. But of course it's okay for him and Michelle to be millionaires even though they unlike Rush never worked for it.
Obviously, you never listen to him. You are repeating what people tell you -- not what you know from experience. Save it.
Wow -- you heard a sound bite. It's amazing how much you know about his show from one sound bite. Ya big dummy... GET OFF MY PHONE! (to recall the great Bob Grant -- the man that blazed the trail for Rush and all the other conservative talkies).
Tusci Propio
Uno Sfachime!
And he is!.
Bob Grant is the reason I am a conservative. WABC used to have a good mix of liberal and conservative hosts, and it was clear to this former NY liberal that conservatism beats liberalism hands down -- especially compared to the 'modern liberals' we have today. For the most part, I consider myself a classical liberal -- and Bob fit that mold. The modern liberals we have today are socialists.
A great many people think they are thinking when they are merely rearranging their prejudices.-- William James,
