Harry Potter Actor Rob Knox Killed

Wow, I just saw this a little while ago on the guardian: They just sentenced Karl Bishop for the May slaying of Rob Knox who played Marcus Belby in the upcoming Harry Potter film. Looks like Rob Knox was killed as he was defending his younger brother when Karl Bishop threatened him.

Karl Bishop stabbed Rob Knox over 10 time, severing an artery in his neck, killing the Harry Potter Actor. The article goes on to say Karl Bishop was more angry about missing a concert that night than the fact he killed a man. He was found guilty today, but will be sentenced tomorrow.

What really surprises me is I don’t remember hearing about this though it happened almost a year ago. So sad when a life is snuffed senselessly like this. And to find out he was defending his brother makes it all the sadder.  My heart goes out to his family.

Oh no.....how horribly tragic!!!!!! I hadn't heard this, either!!! That Bishop guy sounds like he has no remorse........good grief, being more upset about missing a concert than killing a human being......that is so sick and so wrong.

It was all over the news last year. A cop friend of mine told me they are all about knives in England because the gun laws are so strict.

i heard about it when it happened . . . i think the murderer has been convicted but i'm not sure.

Wow, how sad. I think I remember a brief blurb about someone being killed from Harry Potter but then never heard much details as to who exactly or how.

Horrible! Another maniacal killer so self-absorbed that he has no remorse and apparently kills over trivial matters. Rob Knox is a hero for saving his younger brother.

This is the first I've heard of it, but not exactly sure who "Marcus" was. I've seen all the movies, but don't really follow it much.

Never heard about it last year of course with all of the murders on the news it could just have seemed like "another murder, another day." How sad indeed.
