Today began week three of the novel I've mentioned. I'm still at it.
At this point I've written about 45000 words or so; something like that, at least. So a good daily average. The story continues to grow, and the characters tell me what needs to happen next.
Several folks have come to the front, including our heroine, the violin player. She's meeting different challenges at this point, as well as a few new people. The String Quartet that she's performed in for over nine years has just played their last performance together. The violist is leaving because she is marrying a techno-nerd, who always has pens to loan.
The other three women in the quartet are concerned about the group. The violist is telling them they must play at her wedding. What will happen next?
We'll see. That is part of the fun.
One of my favorite characters - and she just walked in on me one day, while my heronie what standing by an open door, listening to organ music - is Mrs. Curry. She is 101 years old, and still chipper. Her story is really something else, too! She and the violinist have become good friends, and Mrs. Curry always tells the younger woman - much younger, but who wouldn't be? - that she will ble praying for her.
That's it for now. Thanks for the support and good thoughts Gather friends!

Renee - thanks to you, as well. I appreciate all of your kind comments.
Beverly M. Thanks. It is something else. This old lady just appeared at the shoulder of my heroine, and now they are friends. Imagine that. PS: both have blue eyes!
